I Am the Moon

The fifth and most ambitious studio project of TTB’s storied career: “I Am The Moon”, an epic undertaking in four albums and 24 original songs. Inspired by a mythic Persian tale of star-crossed lovers and emotionally driven by the isolation and disconnection of the pandemic era, I Am The Moon totals more than two hours of new music and will be released in successive months beginning with I Am The Moon – I. Kofi’s Day of Remembrance

What a day we had today, gathering to honor our beloved musician Kofi Burbridge on what would have been his 60th birthday. We supported local nonprofits in six cities – Atlantic, Boston, Charlotte, Jacksonville, NYC and DC – to address food insecurity.

Everyone worked very hard. Lots of love and many great stories were shared. Kofi would have been overjoyed.

Yonrico Vondez Scott – October 6th, 1955 – September 18, 2019. Rico was a drummer, percussionist, visual artist, educator, father, brother, and friend. Most known however for his contribution to the Derek Trucks Band and member of the GRAMMY award winning ensemble for Best Contemporary Blues Album in 2009. Rico was always full of joy and light. As a treasured creative and soulful member of our extended family, he will be truly missed.
