ENTOURAGE SIGNS NOBODY BEATS THE DRUM
ETA is thrilled to announce the addition of Dutch trio NOBODY BEATS THE DRUM to the roster! These young innovators are concocting an excitingly unique fusion of breaks, electro, hip hop and every other form of music that whips a crowd up into a sweaty, writhing heap of body parts. At a NBTD show the pounding music created by Sjam’s decks and Jori’s keys are enhanced by Rogier’s visuals to create a sensual assault that’s impossible to withstand. As they’re fond of saying, resistance is futile - Nobody Beats The Drum. The group's latest single, "Purple Cactus," has quickly been gaining popularity, with a much-talked about remix by Dem Slackers. To fully appreciate Nobody Beats The Drum’s fusion of breaks, electro, hip hop and every other form of music that whips a crowd up into a sweaty, writhing heap of body parts, it’s best to see them live.

At a NBTD show the pounding music created by Sjam’s decks and Jori’s keys are enhanced by Rogier’s visuals to create a sensual assault that’s impossible to withstand. As they’re fond of saying, resistance is futile - Nobody Beats The Drum.

Until the NBTD extravaganza rolls into a town near you, here’s how to recreate the magic in your own home:

1. Buy their debut album ‘Beats Work’

2. Quit Your Job. You’ll need a day off to recover from all the exertion, plus it’s good for the planet. Check www.quityourjob.nl to see what NBTD are doing to make the world a better place.

2. Hook up a screen to display your visuals (or give Rogier a call, he’s free most nights).

3. Get lots of people round. Don’t worry if you haven’t got any friends, people will come as soon as the music starts.

4. Crank up your sound system. Sjam suggests 160 dB as the optimum sound level.

5. Party on! If you’re worried about what shapes to throw, Jori is fond of the ‘plane’, the ‘whirlwind’ or if you really want to push it, try his ‘climb on whatever’s in the room and jump up and down’ technique. Repeat until security intervenes.
