FRANKIE NEGRON NOMINATED FOR "FAVORITE AMERICAN LATINO INDIE ARTIST"!
¡Felicitaciones! to Frankie Negron, who has been nominated for "Favorite American Latino Indie Artist" at the 2010 American Latino TV Awards. Frankie is being honored for his segment on LatiNation, which is a half-hour program that centers on Latino culture and is broadcast to over 90 markets across the United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Vote for Frankie from now until July 21st, 2010 at www.americanlatino.tv . Frankie has also been honored with performing the Puerto Rican National Anthem at the highly anticipated Cotto/Foreman Super Welterweight Championship. The "Stadium Slugfest" will take place at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, June 5th, 2010, and is the first boxing match to occur there in nearly 35 years. ETA SIGNS FRANKIE NEGRON!
ETA is proud to announce the addition of Frankie Negron to our roster! This salsa superstar released his first ever English album, entitled "Independence Day" (Airgo Music) on September 22, 2009. Frankie has credited both a New Jersey nativity (read: Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi) and Puerto Rican heritage in developing his style and approach to music. Mr. Negron boasts an extremly successful salsa career that spans 13 years, 10 full-length albums, having received a Grammy nomination for “Best Salsa Album” (2001) and a Billboard Award nomination for “Tropical Album of the Year” (2006), as well as two Premio Lo Nuestro awards for “Song of the Year.” He has 4 gold albums to go along with three singles peaking at #1 on the Billboard Latin Tropical & Salsa charts (with an additional 8 singles breaking #5). Toward the end of last year, the Spanish version single of “Adicto A Tu Piel” (“Holding On To Love”) spent 10 weeks on the Billboard Tropical Charts (peaking at #3).
